Ivar Driver

Built around a 4049 Hex inverter, this pedal when pushed gives a tube-like, smooth overdrive sound that doesn’t sound harsh or fizzy. Due to its wide-open nature it sounds equally good on bass, without a blend control, as it does on guitar.

Definitely a good pedal to have in a chain, the Ivar Driver also sounds great on its own. Due to having plenty of volume available it works really well for hitting your amps front end with its volume control. It cleans up nicely when you roll the volume off your guitar and it reacts to fuzz almost like an overdriven amp would.

The boost switch under the Drive knob takes the pedals gain from low to more saturated when switched to the down position. This makes the pedal useful for low gain high volume output applications as well as producing overdriven tones with lots of character.

Premium quality hardware and components including a Gorva footswitch, dust sealed Alpha Potentiometers, Neutrik jacks. To allow the balance and clarity of your guitar signal to shine through, a true 60s vintage (not reproduction), paper in oil, high-quality capacitor has been used which was designed specifically for audio applications and is very rare.
