Mooer micro preamps are sonically accurate digital recreations of the preamp sections of popular tube amps. Mooer developed them by directly analyzing real tube amps using new technology to capture their sound, dynamics and response. Each micro preamp comes complete with two channels, integrated cabinet simulation and a dual mode of operation to meet the needs of all users. To begin with, Mooer released a series of 10 models, each based on a popular tube amplifier from a range of manufacturers. These have been designed to be used with the Mooer power amp, short out, or in the effects return of any guitar amp. The cabinet speaker simulation allows you to connect directly to a sound card, powered monitor or PA without the need for a guitar amplifier or cabinet.
