This is an all-original 1974 Colorsound Overdriver in excellent condition (video demo below). While you can see that it has been used extensively, it works perfectly and has never been abused.

This is the 9v version of the fabled Power Boost circuit which so many associate with Gilmour’s sound on “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.” It’s a simple but sonically stunning circuit and this 9v version breaks up just a tiny bit earlier than the 18v which is a welcome thing when you consider the extraordinary volume boost that this pedal provides even at its lowest setting. It’s Loud, bold and unapologetic. Even at its lowest setting, there’s a notable increase in both clarity and fidelity. Crank the drive knob all the way up and you are in 1970s rock n’ roll heaven. There’s no mistaking that sound when you hear it and there’s no replicating it with modern parts.
